  • This year, racers competed at Morgan Monroe State Forest for one of the longest and hardest races in recent POCAR history. With high temperatures the first day it seemed like it was going to be a warm race, but mother nature decided to changer mind and drop into the low 20's.  The Purdue Outing Club would like to congratulate all participants for fielding the most determined and experienced field we have seen!  Keep it up guys!
  • This year will only had 8 teams that finished. We would like to congratulate Bushwacker for winning the open division and completing the course with in 20 hours and 9 minutes.  Orienteering faux sho was the fastest collegiate team this year completing the race in 37 hours and 57 minutes.  Congratulations guys!  Members of both teams will have free entry for POCAR 2013.  We would also like to recognize Goon Squad for hanging tough and completing the race in 47 hours and 42 minutes!  You guys are awesome!
  • The Race organizers would like to thank all of our volunteers from the Purdue Outing Club who kept the fires going, and patrol cars driving to make this race run safe and smooth for everyone.  We would also like to give special thanks to HAM Radio guys! These guys do an absolutely incredible job and we could not run the race without you!  Finally, thank you for all the racers willing to come out and slog through all manner of weather and terrain in the name of fun!  We hope to see you all again next year.
