Newsletter 04/07/15

This is what happened:

Some super cool kids went down to Bloomington with the IU caving club and swam around in a cave for a couple hours. The trip may have been cut short but they got some Thai food afterwards, so the trip was a success!
There were two climbing trips that went down to the Red this past weekend. They climbed some rocks and had some good times.
This is what is happening:
Momma T and Frye gave a presentation on how to buy gear and what to buy in the way of jackets, sleeping bags, boots, backpacks and tents. I will send out an email later today with both of their presentations attached so you can look at them when you want to buy gear!
This is what is going  to happen:
There is a caving seminar this weekend about caving rescue. Sign-ups are technically closed but you might be able to get in if you call and ask super ask, I have attached the registration form if you're interested, the number to contact is on the form.
Campus to Coast is this weekend at MSU, good luck to all the POCers participating, paddle hard!
The meeting next week Tuesday, April 14th, we will be having a regular meeting at 500 Hayes Street at 7pm. During the meeting we will be having a gear swap and a bbq. So bring any gear you wanna trade or get rid of to this meeting. Only non-life saving gear may be brought, so no climbing ropes,harnesses, ATCs, etc. Also, bring a dessert or side dish with you so we have lots of food!
