Newsletter 02/10/15

Hello all my adventurous friends!!

Spring is just around the corner which means there POC activities will be in full swing. Look out for emails about awesome trips coming up in the near future!

This is what happened:

Over the weekend some crazy cool people went ice climbing and it was the best ever. The group went to PeaBody ice climbing here is a link to learn more: http://peabodyiceclimbing.com/
There will for sure be more ice climbing trips in the future, look out for more emails about those and go do some awesome chilly climbin'!
The kayaking lock-in was this past Friday and it was the bomb! There was rafting, swimming, hot tubbing and maybe some kayaking.

This is what is happening:

At the meeting we voted for two new gear consultants. I pleased to announce that Mariah Miller and Trey Roob will be our two new gear consultants!
If you're interested in becoming driver certified, I have attached a form that is super easy to follow on getting this done. People who are driver certified get priority on trips so this is a good idea to get done!

This is what is going to happen:

Katherine and Mariah are taking a caving trip this weekend that is completely full! Don't get too bummed though, there will be more in the future, look out for emails about caving in the future and sign up fast!
There will be a caving rescue seminar at IU on April 11-12. I have attached the forms that you need to fill out to do this seminar. If this sounds totally fun, which it does, sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/N9ecCX74KB and once you have signed up make sure you get on the driver board so you have a ride down: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j-v6CFIwg0KBm9_1SgRz99RVp2-Ktcd43N9QA55YYj0/edit?usp=sharing. If you sign up and then decide you can't go PLEASE let us know a week in advance!
